030

Hey gang, here’s strip #30! I didn’t really realize it until I was working on the backgrounds for this one last night, but it turns out I have no idea what a jukebox actually looks like. But I found a few reference pics and hopefully it didn’t end up looking too terrible.
Side note: a reader asked if the bar Jason and Ted hang out at is meant to be Calgary’s Ship & Anchor Pub… it’s not, which will become clearer as I draw a few more comics there. This place is based on a local watering hole, though, but I’m not going to name any names just yet.
I’ve got pre-orders open for the first ever Calgary Zombie Walk t-shirts (designed by yrs trly) over at the Dead Mile site until October 15th. It’s my first stab at printing up shirts on my own, and so far pre-orders are going well. I know that pre-orders suck and paying for stuff in advance is all kinds of lame, but it’s the only way I can afford to get these things printed in the first place since I don’t have any corporate sponsors or anything. If this goes well, I might look into printing up some Terminal Hipster shirts for Christmas… we’ll see, I guess.
